About Me
Welcome to my site! My name is Elizabeth Wrobel and I am currently a Master's student in the Department of Poultry Science at the University of Georgia, advised by Dr. Kristen Navara. In 2015, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in general biology from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. I am mostly interested in the fields of reproductive physiology, immunology, infectious diseases, and disease ecology. I am currently in the process of applying to PhD programs for Fall 2018. I hope to join a lab that specializes in immunology and disease-based research, whether it be in an ecological or molecular/clinical setting. One area of interest to me is the examination of how environmental changes can influence disease dynamics within a population of animals.
